Mellors Care are supporting a Hull-based residential care home in their search for a Senior Care Assistant. The home provides care for elderly service users with physical disability, mild to moderate dementia and palliative care.
The role will involve leading the shift, along with the Deputy Manager, to ensure that safe and high-quality care is provided. Other responsibilties will include:
- Giving medication and medication counts
- Following care plans
- Daily note-taking
- Supporting Care Assistants to carry out their duties
- Working closely with the management team
- Assisting residents with personal care
- Supporting with activites and social events within the home
- Following all CQC and Safeguarding policies and procedures
This role offers either full-time or part-time hours, depending on your preference and offers the chance to work in a supportive, friendly enviroment whilst being supported by an excellent managemen team.
