About the Opportunity

We’re proud to represent a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor recognised for delivering high-quality projects across renewables, infrastructure, and flood protection.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in projects that have a lasting impact — from renewable energy infrastructure to vital flood resilience works.

Based primarily in Argyll, with opportunities to travel across Scotland, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Your Role

Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll oversee on-site operations, manage resources effectively, and drive delivery excellence. You’ll lead by example — ensuring safety, quality, and teamwork are at the core of every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site labour and resources efficiently.

  • Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.

  • Ensure full compliance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) standards.

  • Maintain accurate site documentation, records, and registers.

  • Enforce company safety and operational procedures.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.

What You’ll Bring
  • HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent delivering successful civil engineering projects.

  • Background in infrastructure and/or renewable energy projects (desirable).

  • Strong understanding of health & safety management and site procedures.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and Project Costing Software.

  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.

  • Flexibility to travel as required.
