Residential Site Manager (High-Rise Apartment Project)

The Opportunity

A leading regional contractor is seeking an experienced Residential Site Manager to take the lead on a brand-new high-rise apartment scheme in West Kirby. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a landmark development and work with a business that has an excellent track record in large-scale residential projects.

 

Role Overview

As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the high-rise project, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage site operations, and act as the main point of contact between the build team and senior management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations on a high-rise residential construction site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to maintain programme delivery.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Maintain quality control across all construction phases.
  • Monitor project progress against budget and timelines.
  • Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Keep site records, documentation, and reporting up to date.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing large-scale apartment or multi-storey residential builds.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to manage multiple trades on a complex site.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
  • Confident using IT systems and construction project tools.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Scaffold Awareness

Desirable Qualifications (training can be provided):

  • Procore or other document control systems
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Fire Marshall Certification
  • Microsoft Project

Package & Benefits

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • 23 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
