We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in the industrial / manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.

Our client is a medium-sized organisation located in West Kent. They specialise in commercial services within the industrial and manufacturing industry, providing high-quality products and services to a wide range of businesses across the UK.

Description

Overseeing the accounting operations, including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting.
Budgeting and forecasting
Variance analysis
Accruals and prepayments
Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide management with an accurate picture of the company's financial situation.
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Working with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Developing and implementing financial systems and controls to improve efficiency.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Performing ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Supporting with the management of the finance team.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with financial reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software.
