I am seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the specialist resource provision on a temporary contract, starting ASAP. This role requires working 32.5 hours per week over 5 days during term time. The school boasts an established specialist resource provision where children achieve highly and make excellent progress.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work across the school, supporting both the specialist resource provision (SRP) and mainstream staff.
  • Use creative thinking to support children with personalised resources, helping them learn and gain independence.
  • Liaise closely with teachers and other support staff to facilitate effective communication and support for students.
  • Engage with various educational activities, adapting to the needs of specific pupils to help them reach their learning and personal targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, preferably within a specialist educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on supporting individual student needs.
  • Commitment to professional development and a passion for working with children.
