- Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly payrolls for a varied client base
- Process starters, leavers, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) and auto-enrolment pensions
- Ensure timely RTI submissions and end-of-year reporting (P60s, P11Ds)
- Handle client queries and liaise with HMRC on payroll matters
- Maintain accurate payroll records in line with GDPR and HMRC compliance
- Provide advice to clients on payroll best practices and legislation updates
- Previous experience running payrolls within an accountancy firm
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as BrightPay, Moneysoft, Sage Payroll or Xero Payroll
- Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation
