This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individualstudying towards ACA (Professional Stage),with proven audit and accounts experience in practice, looking to develop their skills and progress their career within a supportive, collaborative environment.

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting seniors on larger audit assignments, completing allocated tasks to a high standard
  • Running smaller assignments with guidance from the team as required
  • Delegating tasks to trainees and providing ongoing feedback and mentorship
  • Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients including groups, limited companies, LLPs
  • Building client relationships and liaising directly to assist with planning and audit completion
  • Collaborating with supervisors and managers to deliver high-quality work
  • Taking responsibility for passing professional exams, meeting deadlines, and maintaining consistent study progress
  • Completing timesheets, maintaining confidentiality, and representing the firm professionally both in and out of the office

What were looking for:

  • Proven experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice
  • Currently studying towards ACA (Professional Stage)
  • Technically proficient in audit with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, comfortable engaging with senior management
  • Effective at managing and mentoring others
  • Confident using Excel, CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation, Outlook, and other audit/accounts software
  • Proactive, organised, and solution-focused
