Direct Response Employment Services are working with a reputable business in Westbury who are seeking a credit controller to join on a part time basis, working 20 hours per week across 5 days.
As a credit controller you will be responsible for managing company debt, maintaining and updating company procedures, reducing volume and value of outstanding debt and ensuring a healthy cash flow within the business.
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of credit control, including chasing late payments, dealing with retentions and monitoring valuations and allocating / posting receipts
- Balance, maintain and close the Sales Ledger at month end and run all relevant month end reports.
- Liaise with Project Managers reference invoicing and receipts specific to their contracts.
- Generate all sales invoices using Sage Line 1000 in line with agreed contract payment terms.
- Input of sales variation orders.
- Production of weekly overdue report.
- Deal with customer enquiries
- Liaise with solicitors re bad debts.
- Daily banking as required, and month end reconciliation.
- Provide support in other areas as and when required.
Hourly pay for the role is 14 per hour, working 20 hours a week working across 5 days.
This is a temp to perm position.
