This is an integral role where the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product availability whilst minimising stockholding and working capital.

Description

The Demand planner will be responsible for;

  • Create accurate forecasts and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyse demand patterns and trends to inform strategic planning.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators to measure forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in product life cycle management and new product introduction processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations relating to procurement and supply chain.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts including demand forecasting and inventory management.
  • Commutable daily to Westbury - Wiltshire
