Description
- Oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods
- Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes
- Implement operational policies to increase efficiency
- Regularly review workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met
- Develop and maintain detailed procedures for logistics processes
- Manage stock control systems and ensure they are updated accurately
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
Profile
A successful Warehouse Manager should have:
- Exposure within Manufacturing Logistics
- Proven experience in managing warehouse operations
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
- Strong decision-making skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties
- Commutable daily to Westbury Wiltshire
Job Offer
The Warehouse Manager will receive;
- A competitive salary in the range of £36,000 - £44,000
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
