We're working on behalf of a wonderful independent specialist school that are on the lookout for a Deputy Headteacher to join the team for ideally as soon as possible! We have had a number of staff support in the school over the years who will mostly all want to stay there long-term.
The work they do at the school is varied and challenging. As a trauma and attachment informed school, all staff are provided with extensive therapeutic training and support.
The role
The Deputy Headteacher is a role where you will be well supported, working closely with the Head Teacher in helping improve the school and its practices. It is an essential role in helping the school define its outcomes, its successes and its character! The role is 50% FTE Teaching (ideally Maths) and 50% Leadership responsibilities.
In terms of requirements; QTS is essential, the ability to teach subject specialism to GCSE level, experience teaching SEMH students. The school are open to a range of applications.
