That moment of panic?Our client, is on the frontline of protecting customers from financial crime - and we're recruiting motivated, customer-focused individuals to be part of that mission.We're currently hiring for Fraud Analysts to join their dynamic Southend-on-Sea team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in tackling financial fraud and making a real impact in people's lives.The Opportunity:You'll be the first line of defence in spotting suspicious activity, investigating cases, and protecting genuine customers from becoming victims of fraud. If you're passionate about customer service and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you.Assignment Details:?Pay: £14.29 per hour (+ additional shift allowances up to £18.26 p/hr)Start Dates: 2nd June 2025 or 28th July 2025Contract: Initial 12-month temporary assignment with the potential to extend or go permanentLocation: Thanet Grange, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS0 0EJHours: 35 hours/week across 5 days (Monday to Sunday between 8am and 10pm, including some bank holidays)Key Responsibilities:
  • Use high-risk identification strategies to detect fraud and protect customers
  • Investigate and escalate queries efficiently
  • Support ongoing improvements to customer service and operational processes
  • Training & Progression:
  • 8 weeks of comprehensive classroom-based training
  • Transition to an academy setting with support while taking live calls
  • Eligibility for hybrid working after achieving performance benchmarks (minimum 6 days/month in-office)
Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in customer service and telephone-based roles
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • High attention to detail and solid IT skills (Microsoft Office, multi-system use)
  • Team player with a problem-solving mindset
