Our client is a specialist manufacturer of commercial and industrial burners. They supply complete combustion solutions from existing boilers to designing equipment to meet new building & industrial powerplant requirements.
They currently have a vacancy for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Work within the existing Sales Team by being a key point of contact for our customers in USA/UK/Asia/Europe/China/ROW and provide both pre-and after-sales advice. To liaise with customers on a daily basis and carry out sales quotations and support the Technical Sales Engineering team by helping promote the Limpsfield Burner range.
This role would suit an Engineering Graduate with 2 or more years of industry experience.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain long-term relationships with our existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
- Monitor USA/UK/Asia/Europe/China/ROW with regards to Burner Quotes converted through to Burner Orders.
- Preparing client quotations for spares, burners and boilers and following them up to see if the quotes met with their expectations and updating the CRM system accordingly
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and sales support services
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
- Liaising with the engineering team
- Producing, maintaining and editing the price lists
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering is desirable or qualified by experience
- 2 years previous experience working within Engineering, sales is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with speaking to customers on the phone
- Flexible and have a can-do attitude
- Team Player - essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook)
