Part-Time PA to Managing Director

Location: Westerham

Hours: 3 days per week (22.5 hours – Wednesday to Friday, fixed, office based)

Salary: £30,000–£32,000 pro rata

Start: ASAP on a temp to perm basis

Our client is a long-established and successful manufacturing business operating within a niche market. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated PA to the Managing Director to provide seamless business and personal support. This is an extremely busy and hands on role where you will closely support the MD and the wider business.

Daily responsibilities:

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diary & Email Management – managing the MD’s inbox, correspondence, and priorities
  • Travel Coordination – arranging complex UK & international travel (flights, hotels, transfers, restaurants)
  • Meeting & Event Preparation – preparing presentations, agendas, and materials for internal and external meetings
  • Exhibitions & Corporate Events – organising registrations, logistics, and schedules
  • Office Management – overseeing facilities, coordinating opening/closing, liaising with cleaners and suppliers
  • Team Support – supervising the Receptionist & Maintenance Supervisor
  • HR & Admin – supporting with HR documentation, maintaining CRM records, training logs, and expenses
  • Personal Support – managing personal appointments, invitations, and travel for the MD

About you:

The successful candidate will be a capable, confident, and professional PA with proven experience supporting at senior management or Director level. You will be highly organised, able to anticipate needs, and comfortable managing a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous PA experience in a 1:1 role, ideally supporting a Director/MD
  • Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office suite and CRM/database systems)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • High levels of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with plenty of initiative and common sense
