SMT Technician (Surface Mount Technology)

Monday-Friday
You will be responsible for loading boards into the SMT machine, code checking for pick lists and appropriate programme selection, carry out visual inspection of finished boards, complete documentation to move through the production process or re-route for manual re-working where needed. You will also be the machine minder and carry out basic trouble shooting and maintenance where possible to keep production levels on track.
The Role:
*Loading boards into the SMT Machine
*Code Checking for pick lists and appropriate programme selection
*Carry out inspections of finished boards
*Complete associated documentation
*Carry out basic trouble shooting and maintenance of the SMT machine where needed
The Person:
*Previous experience in an SMT machine operator role
*Basic machine minding and trouble shooting ability (not engineering maintenance)
*Willing to work early and late shifts
*Willing to work overtime on occasion as required.
