Role - Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer
Location – Close to Weston-Super-Mare
Duration – 6mths (Potential to be extended)
Rate- Inside IR35 – uplifted rates.
Are you an experienced Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer looking for your next contract role?
This is your chance to play a key role in delivering a 60million plus highways project, including new bridges, bypass and culverts.
This is a chance to join a team from the ground up, you will be working alongside Site Agents, Section Engineers, Senior Engineers.
The Company
Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK, is offering an excellent opportunity.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your role will involve:
- Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as requiredÂ
- Produce 2D&3D site sketchesÂ
- Assist in maintaining quality records , ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with inspection&test plansÂ
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Leading problem-solving and risk management efforts on-site.
About You
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Highways, infrastructure and structures experienceÂ
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Proven ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and project delivery.
- Strong civil background RC&drainage essentialÂ
- Setting out , QA , permits to dig , temporary works experience,Â
