Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Inspector to join our Building Control Team.
- The Building Control Team are responsible for ensuring compliance of construction works with the Building Regulations.
- In this role, you will manage a caseload of construction projects commensurate to your BSR registration, which will be at least Class 2A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake plan checks
- Undertake site inspections
- Undertake site inspections in relation to dangerous structures
- Take enforcement action as necessary
- We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building safety and public service, and who possesses the following skills and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Registered with the Building Safety Regulator at Class 2A for plan check and site inspection work
- Ability to plan and organise own work effectively
- Good communication and customer care skills
- Adheres to professional standards and codes of conduct set by the BSR
