Are you someone who has had prior experience working with children? Or working as a Teaching Assistant?
Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Learning Assistant to support a KS1 classroom from June on a Full-Time basis.
You will join a Primary School in the BS23 area of North Somerset which is a vibrant and inclusive learning community committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in all our pupils.
The Role
You will work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning and support high quality teaching and learning across all subjects.
You will also help to create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge working 1:1 and in small groups.
You will be expected to:

Communicate with Class Teachers, SENCo and Parents.

Build strong and trustworthy relationships.

Put the pupil’s needs and interests first.

Adapt activities to meet their needs to ensure they are able to access their learning.
