We work on behalf of a wonderful special school in the Weston-Super-Mare area that are looking for a Teacher to join the team. The school look after a wide range of SEN which includes ASC, Cognition & Learning Needs, ADHD, SLCN.

They're a friendly, happy and caring school that seek to ensure that their learners emerge from school as self-confident individuals; equipped with the skills to successfully take the next step in their lives. They really are a lovely bunch of staff who care deeply about every single student in the school.

The role

This role is within a KS3 class where you will be teaching lessons across the curriculum, planning your lessons, complete EHCP paperwork (as well as run reviews). Though this class is KS3, the students work to a lower level, so the position suits a primary trained teacher. The class has 8 students where you will be ably supported by 3 full-time TA's.

You should ideally hold a QTS (though they're open to applications from ECTs) and have experience of working in a specialist school.
