Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home in Weston-super-Mare provides compassionate short- and long-term care for up to 40 residents, including recovery, nursing, and palliative support.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our supportive team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will make a real difference, ensuring residents enjoy a comfortable and pleasant living space. This role is ideal for both those with previous experience in housekeeping or care settings, and those looking to start a rewarding career supporting others.
What We Offer
- £12.21 per hour
- Contracted hours: 16.5 or 24 hours per week
- Additional £2 per hour overtime
- Pension, uniform, and onsite parking provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will DoAs a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home. This includes cleaning and caring for floors, furniture, fixtures, and sanitary areas, as well as managing laundry and ensuring residents’ belongings are safely handled. You will work closely with the wider team to maintain a welcoming environment and support residents’ comfort and wellbeing. Your role will contribute directly to a home where residents feel valued, safe, and cared for every day.
