Salary: £110 - £160 per day

I am hiring for a secondary school in Weston-super-Mare who are looking for Cover Supervisor staff that can support on a casual basis covering teachers who are away. This school are particularly keen to find staff that have a strong grasp on behaviour management and can follow school policies to keep the learning as consistent as possible for the students. For staff that are new to the role, there is training available. Staff with a particular subject specialism are preferred where possible.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working in schools or with children in similar roles
• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
