Operations Controller 
Weston-super-Mare

NEOS Engineering are delighted to partner with a leading plant hire company seeking an entry-level Operations Controller to join their team in Weston-super-Mare. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the digital division, ensuring accurate systems management and excellent customer service while growing alongside a dynamic business.

The Job:
As an Operations Controller – Digital, you’ll maintain the accuracy of the digital division’s systems, managing hire records, contracts, and charges. This varied role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently to support operational efficiency.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage hire requests and create contracts in the plant management system.

  • Coordinate with customers, fitters, transport, sales, and workshop teams.

  • Monitor contracts, invoicing, and chargeable damages processes.

  • Check equipment availability and ensure accurate, up-to-date records.

  • Generate purchase orders and assist with stock control.

 

What You Need:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

  • Proactive problem-solving and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and a full UK driving licence.
