Support Worker - Weston-super-Mare Salary: 12.50-13.50 per hour (sleep-ins available) Contract: Full-time / Part-time
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join a dedicated team in Weston-super-Mare, supporting individuals living with paranoid schizophrenia and acquired brain injuries. This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
About the Role: You'll be providing person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs and neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care

  • Encouraging and facilitating meaningful activities and community engagement

  • Building trusting relationships and promoting independence

  • Writing clear, detailed notes and maintaining accurate records

  • Working as part of a supportive and professional team


What We're Looking For:


  • Experience in mental health or brain injury support is desirable but not essential

  • Strong communication and observational skills

  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins
