Bookkeeper, Wetherby, £28-35K DOE

Location: Wetherby

House of Work: 35 Monday to Friday

Salary:  £28-35,000 DOE

Are you a bookkeeper looking for a new challenge? 

Due to increased work levels this well-established legal firm are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to manage the financial records and transactions for their clients. 

This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, preferably within a legal or professional services environment although training can be given.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including income, expenses, and investments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, investment accounts, and other financial records.
  • Generate financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns
  • Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally AAT Level 2 or above
  • Experience within an Accounts role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
