Service Engineer (Fire & Security or Fire Alarms)

Package Details

  • Basic salary up to 39,000

  • On-target earnings up to 55,000

  • Travel time paid (minus first 30 minutes each way)

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • 1 in 5 week call-out rota

  • Standby payments: 20 per night and 50 per weekend day (up to 200 per week)

  • 10% commission on sale price of items replaced on first-time fix

  • Company van, fuel card, and personal use

  • Gent training and qualifications provided

  • Ongoing training with clear long-term progression

Role Overview

  • Service, fault finding, and small works across fire and security systems

  • Fire-biased role with a strong focus on fire alarm systems

  • Working across commercial, retail, and social housing environments

  • Attending client sites across West and East Yorkshire

  • Ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and fully operational

  • Identifying and rectifying faults efficiently to a high standard

  • Extinguisher experience beneficial but not essential

  • Opportunity to gain Gent training and manufacturer certifications
