Private Client Tax Senior Director – Partner Designate, Weybridge, Surrey£90,000 – £130,000 + benefits

Are you a senior Private Client Tax professional ready to take the next step towards Partnership?

We are recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior Director to join a thriving, 4-office Surrey-based firm of Chartered Accountants. This is a senior leadership position offering you the chance to shape the future of the private client function and work with a loyal, high-value portfolio of entrepreneurial clients, HNWIs, trusts, and family estates.

This is an advisory-led role with a clear path to equity partnership, supported by a collaborative leadership team and a forward-thinking firm culture.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the private client tax offering, managing an established portfolio of private clients and their families.
  • Deliver a 50/50 mix of advisory and compliance work, including complex IHT and CGT planning, residence and domicile issues, and income tax matters.
  • Provide high-level strategic tax advice to business owners, entrepreneurs, and family groups.
  • Drive business development and raise the firm’s profile in the private client space.
  • Coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

What We’re Looking For

  • CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified with considerable UK private client tax experience, ideally including trusts and estate planning.
  • Proven success in advisory roles with HNWIs and business owners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop both people and client relationships.
  • Long-term commitment to becoming a Partner.
  • Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
