Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their professional growth.
Profile
A successful Financial Accounts Manager should have:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 4 years PQE
- Desire and drive to improve systems and process.
- Proven knowledge and experience in finance management and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain financial matters to non - financial people.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
