Do you have a background in Woodwork or Carpentry? Are you looking to work for an industry leading company within the Live Events and Touring industry, who offer progression and development plans, a great working environment and company culture alongside the opportunity to boost your earnings with overtime?

This market-leading Audio Rental company provides sound equipment for live events, gigs and tours across the UK and Europe. They have experienced steady growth since their establishment 45 years ago and have recently been acquired by a global business, moved into a larger premises increasing their headcount to 150 people by progressing and training their people.

In this varied role, you will be situated in their workshop department, carrying out repairs and refurbishments of their flight cases, this includes fixing handles, hinges and catches, sanding down, finishing and re-painting panels, ensuring high quality work, reporting faults and preparing and tracking cases for transfers or external jobs. This is a 35 hour week contract, with lots of overtime available where you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including some weekend work.

This role would suit someone from a Carpentry or Woodworking background with a passion to work in the Live Events Industry on behalf of a company who value their people, train and progress their staff over time, and give them the opportunity to boost their earnings.

The Role:

  • Maintaining, Repairing and Refurbishment of Flight Cases
  • Basic Woodworking, Painting and Finishing
  • Preparation and Tracking of all cases / touring racks
  • Fault Finding and Reporting
  • 35 hour week, 5 days in 7 plus overtime

The Person:

  • Background in Woodworking or Carpentry
  • Looking to work in the Live Events or Touring Industry
  • Commutable to Weybridge
