ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSISTANT

£30,000 - £35,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

PERMANENT FULL TIME – HYBRID WORKING

I have partnered with a leading entertainment and events company to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their small but busy team. This role involves working closely with the Financial Controller and taking sole responsibility for the function. If you have a passion for finance and the entertainment industry, this could be the perfect role for you.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Raising and posting sales invoices/credit notes.
  • Liaising with the Sales Team to ensure invoices are raised on time.
  • Sending invoices to clients and dealing with any invoice queries.
  • Maintaining client billing details and updating sales reports.
  • Handling credit control and regular reporting
  • Posting cashbook transactions and conducting daily bank reconciliations for multiple currencies.
  • Covering for accounts payable when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with credit control and raising invoices.
  • AAT qualification is ideal, but a minimum of A-level qualifications is required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, able to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and an eye for detail.
  • Interest in improving processes and systems.
