Do you have a degree in Audio / Sound Engineering, Music Technology or similar? Are you looking to advance your career within a world class audio rental company who are known for their excellent progression pathways, plentiful overtime to substantially increase your earnings and the opportunity to assist in global events and tours?

This market-leading Audio Rental company provides audio equipment for live events across the UK and around the globe including festivals such as Glastonbury and Global Tours including Beyonce. They have experienced steady growth since their establishment 45 years ago and have recently been acquired by a global audio company, moved into a larger premises increasing their headcount to 150 people.

In this varied role, you would be responsible for all of the preparation and de-prepping of a range of state of the art equipment including speakers, PA systems, microphones, cables and rigging equipment. You will test, fault find and maintain all departmental equipment. This role is a 5-day week which may include weekend work, any hours worked over 35, will be paid as overtime.

This role would suit a degree-qualified candidate with an Audio, Sound or Music Tech background looking to take a permanent position in the live events industry for a world class audio rental company with a global presence. They are known for their excellent progression pathways, specialist industry training and plentiful overtime to increase your earnings.

The Role:

  • Maintenance and Repair of Equipment including Speakers and Rigging equipment
  • Preparation and de-prepping of all equipment
  • Assisting casual staff, work with other departments
  • 35 hours per week (Core Hours 10AM-6PM)
  • Overtime available - 1.5 x hourly rate
  • Progression and Training opportunities

The Person:

  • Degree in Music, Sound or Audio
  • Experience working as a Casual or Event Technician or similar
  • Commutable to Weybridge
