Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client - a rapidly growing engineering company based in Weymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and driving the company's key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
Key Duties:
- Monitor and maintain all quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and support investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Review and interpret First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external quality-related matters.
- Assist with internal and external auditing schedules and processes.
- Promote and implement standardised processes and best practices across the organisation.
Requirements:
- ISO 9001 / AS9100 audit trained.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001 and NADCAP standards.
- Previous experience working in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
