As a Business Coordinator / Operations Coordinator you will provide critical administrative and operational support to the mamagement Team. This role is integral to the day-to-day functioning of the business, ensuring smooth coordination across departments and adherence to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, possess strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a varied role with excellent opportunities for career growth. The role is located in Weymouth.
Key Responsibilities as a Business Coordinator / Operations Coordinator
Daily Operations - Assist and support the Leadership Team in various projects.
Collect, organize, and distribute project-related information.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Prepare quotes, estimates, and Risk & Method Statements (RAMS).
Manage customer email correspondence professionally.
Process customer purchase orders and job completion through to invoicing.
Compliance, Policies, and Procedures - Implement and maintain company compliance standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO and BS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS EN 1090, etc.).
Oversee compliance certifications including Safe Contractor and JOSCAR.
Support quality assurance initiatives and document management.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to processes and guidelines.
Prepare and maintain Carbon Footprint and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions reports.
Produce company documents, reports, briefing papers, and presentations.
Human Resources & Health and Safety (H&S) - Manage personnel administration and HR-related tasks.
Coordinate new employee and subcontractor onboarding packs.
Oversee health surveillance and coordinate H&S audits & ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills -
Demonstrate discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Proactive and organised with strong communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High attention to detail and effective time management.
Proficiency in IT systems and software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
Confident in engaging with customers and internal teams.
This role is located in Weymouth, you must be able to travel to work daily.
