Role Summary
A Setting Out Engineer plays a key role in the delivery of construction projects by providing precise site measurements and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design drawings and specifications. They are responsible for setting out, surveying, and checking construction works to maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and plans to set out construction works accurately.
- Carry out site surveys and establish control points, levels, and benchmarks.
- Monitor and check works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain records of site surveys, as-built drawings, and quality checks.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to on site.
Requirements
- Substation Experience is essential
