Are you a qualified Electrician or similar, looking to break into the marine industry with one of the UK's last remaining shipbuilding companies, offering full industry training, long-term stability, and the opportunity to boost your earnings significantly through regular overtime?

This is a second-generation, family-run company based in Whitby, known for building and refitting high-quality fishing boats and workboats. They're one of the UK's last specialist shipbuilders, combining traditional skills with modern techniques. The owner has a hands-on background and still works closely with the team. It's a friendly, down-to-earth place where people take real pride in what they do.

The company carries out full boat builds, mainly workboats and trawlers, from the ground up. In this role, you'll install and maintain electrical systems onboard vessels, working from diagrams and using standard tools and wiring methods. You'll be part of a skilled team building real, tangible products with purpose. Full training is provided for electricians new to the marine industry.

The Role:
* Install and connect cables, lighting, switchgear and control panels on marine vessels
* Read and follow wiring diagrams and layout drawings
* Test circuits and carry out basic fault finding
* Work safely onboard vessels in a shipyard environment
* Keep your area clean and report any problems to your team leader
* 44 hours per week - Monday to Friday, time and half overtime, double time on Sunday and bank holidays

The Person:
* Marine Electrician or qualified Electrician (18th Edition)
* Full UK driving licence
