About the Hygiene Manager job
As Hygiene Manager you will have full responsibility for the hygiene team, ensuring the agreed procedures and documentation are relevant and being followed.
Key tasks
- Be the site expert in use of cleaning processes, procedures and GMP standards to achieve best practice.
- Support good health and safety working practice in the development of cleaning processes and procedures.
- Create work instructions, key inspection points and records for all hygiene processes and procedures.
- Support the company departments in complaint investigations relating to hygiene and GMP.
About You
- The successful candidate shall have led and managed a Hygiene Team, ensuring safe chemical use, adherence to cleaning procedures, and compliance with Health & Safety and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
- Experience of planned and recorded deep cleans, hygiene documentation etc as well as supported technical teams with microbiological investigations, swabbing, and chemical titration.

The Hygiene Manager job (ref:8897) is paying £38,000 according to your experience.
The site is in York and is commutable from York, Wetherby, Harrogate, Thirsk, Tadcaster, Leeds and surrounding towns.
The package includes 28 days annual leave and Staff benefit scheme.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00pm to 06:00am with flexibility.
