Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Whitstable, Kent
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:30
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Our client is seeking a proactive and professional Customer Service Coordinator to join their Whitstable-based team. This is a dynamic role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the full order lifecycle from quotation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and quotations within set KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Prepare quotations using internal systems and ensure export compliance.
  • Liaise with commercial, product, and procurement teams to confirm pricing and lead times.
  • Follow up on quotes, negotiate where needed, and progress orders to shipment.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Support external sales and business development teams.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and assist with cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Maintain coverage of phones, emails, and reception during office hours.
  • Participate in team reviews and contribute to service improvements.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in customer service, order processing, and quotations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
