Job Title: Press Brake Operative
Location: Whitstable
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Salary: £14 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:10pm, finishing at 4pm on Friday

Duties / skills required for the role:
- Able to initiate brake press (essential)
- Able to select correct program from directory (after training)
- Understand differences between different types of punches, dies & die holders & whether they are standard or reversed
- Ability to identify correct tooling in machine, matches tooling on program (essential)
- Understand safety aspects of tools in operation (Light guards/Safety key) (essential)
- Ability to write a program (once trained)
- Ability to fold components (once trained)
- Reliable, good timekeeping (essential)
- Ability to work with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy (essential)
- Ability to read drawings and understand tolerances (essential)
