An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a well-established and innovative manufacturing company based in EastKent. This business services a range of industrial b2b customers.
This role would suit a motivated and dependable individual with experience in customer service who is ready to take on a varied and rewarding position within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Customer Service Coordinator you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via various channels, consistently delivering a high standard of service.
- Prepare accurate quotations and process technical sales orders, ensuring alignment with manufacturing specifications and lead times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history using internal ERP/CRM systems.
- Liaise with production, logistics, and procurement teams to coordinate order fulfilment and delivery schedules.
- Proactively resolve technical queries, delivery issues, and service concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the sales and engineering teams with project coordination and customer updates.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in an office-based customer service role in a relevant business (engineering, manufacturing, scientific)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident communicator with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Able to manage and prioritise workload effectively and work well under pressure.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/CRM systems.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
- Organised and adaptable in approach.
OUTSTANDING candidates will also have:
- Experience working within defence or aerospace manufacturing/engineering
