Day-to-day of the role:
- Read and adhere to all relevant documentation for plating and finishing processes.
- Strictly follow company manufacturing, health & safety, and quality procedures.
- Execute the production plan and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify and apply correct jigging and wiring/barrelling methods for each component.
- Safely handle chemicals within the plating department.
- Utilise x-ray spectrometer and other equipment to measure plating thickness and perform visual inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety rules and company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow strict processes and safety guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and apply new plating techniques.
- Previous experience in plating or metal finishing is beneficial but not essential.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
- Capability to meet and exceed production targets.
