My client is a leading provider of housing solutions and in the search of a Support Worker Team Manager

We are looking for someone who has:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Social Care and/or equivalent, or willing to work towards one within a set timeframe.
  • Knowledge and understanding of The Childrens Act and Childrens Social Care
  • Must have previous experience and used to working with a young people within the care setting.
  • A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle. The role involves working from home with daily travel involved to provide direct support to the K.C.C. Team.

Your daily tasks would include:

  • Plan and prioritise your diary to ensure monthly 1-to-1s and performance reviews are completed alongside monitoring of care plans, workforce plan and regular audits.
  • Communicate and liaise with stakeholders and local authority staff and sub-contractors, including the Police, NHS, involved charities and Environmental Health.
  • Meet own Key Performance Objectives and actively supporting team members to meet their objectives and the requirements of the contract and requirements of Ofsted.
  • Provide support, advice andguidance to support workers and their young people living independently in their homes.
  • Assist in developing young peoples independent living skills.
