Based in Whittlesey PE7 2HP

Seasonal Role - Start 2nd week of September to February 2026

Working Hours - 6 days per week with 8am starts.

Pay Rate 12.21 per hour plus 1 more on a Saturday

Berry recruitment is currently seeking Potato Graders to work as a team and to support the upcoming harvest season. This is a hands-on role - manual handling is required and is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and team management skills.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working as a team of grading staff; ensuring a continual work flow and ensuring that the break times are shared to keep the lines going.
  • Ensure standards are met within the grading and that no foreign objects get though during the grading process.
  • You will be working on the Stationary Grader, so no need to worry about travel sickness!

Requirements:

  • Must be available from February, including working Saturday and/or Sunday (working 6 days a week)
  • Usual start times 8am - flexibility around workdays will be needed.
  • Own transport advantageous due to location- some lift shares may be available at a cost of 6 per day paid to the driver.
  • Must wear relevant PPE - Safety boots and a hi vis, gloves will be provided by the farm
