Sales Manager / Business Development

We are looking for a self-motivated and driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a growing company in the Education sector.

Working alongside the company director, the sales manager will help shape the future of the business. You will help develop the sales strategy, vision and targets.

This is a stand-alone sales role, so you will need to be driven and self-motivated, with the desire to succeed and in time, become part of the directors team.

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

  • Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand market presence.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to broaden networks and showcase products.
  • Collaborate with internal departments—such as operations, marketing, and finance—to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with business objectives.
  • Track sales performance, evaluate KPI’s, and present regular updates to senior leadership.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in a sales role, preferably within the education sector, though candidates from related industries with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
