Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain health & safety policies and procedures.
- Complete risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and control hazards.
- Provide advice, training, and support on PPE, safe practices, and compliance.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor safety performance and prepare clear, concise reports.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and ensure company compliance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead safety communications and awareness initiatives.
- Carry out routine off-site visits.
Personal Requirements
- Experience in a Health & Safety role with strong knowledge of regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident IT user (Microsoft Office).
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence required.
- IOSH membership or similar qualification desirable.
Salary - 33k per year
