- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Capable of working independently, while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Experienced in cutting, grinding, and drilling various materials to specification.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures, including company standards and process documentation.
- Diligent in recording production data, as well as logging equipment issues, adjustments, and any required maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address mechanical or safety concerns.
- Ensure machines are adequately stocked with tools and materials to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, creating a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Proven experience working to high-quality standards, particularly on precision-engineered components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Solid grasp of general engineering practices, including accurate measuring, marking out, manual drilling, tapping, basic fabrication setup, and tacking.
- Desirable: Exposure to or experience operating CNC machinery is a strong advantage.
