Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Oversee general site and facility maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and operational working environment.
  • Carry out machine repairs across a range of equipment including Makino, Mazak, Matsuura, and Okuma machining centres.
  • Implement and maintain Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) strategies for all CNC and machining centres.
  • Conduct machine capability studies, analysing performance and identifying optimisation opportunities.
  • Coordinate external repairs and emergency breakdown responses, liaising with contractors and managing third-party interventions.
  • Plan and schedule routine machine servicing, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Organise calibration activities for inspection and electronic measuring equipment in line with quality standards.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
  • Solid engineering experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine repair, with hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
  • Skilled in precision assembly setup, including the use of machine tools for high-accuracy builds.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all tasks and processes.
