Year 2 teacher - January 2026 Maternity Cover
Our lovely primary school in Wickford is seeking a caring and committed professional to join our friendly team from January 2026. This maternity cover position is offered on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension, and provides a wonderful opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic year 2 teacher who is passionate about nurturing young learners and delivering high-quality education and training. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
As a year 2 teacher, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who value collaboration and creativity. Our school places a strong emphasis on education and training, ensuring staff are well supported and encouraged to develop their skills. Located in the heart of Wickford, we are proud of our welcoming environment and strong relationships with families.
