Monday-Friday days, 40 hours per week.

The company:
Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company. Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Quality inspector with experience ideally in the motorsport/ automotive/ Aerospace or precision engineering industry to join them on a range of exciting upcoming projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Reading blueprints, drawings and specifications for projects and bespoke work
Inspect, test or measure materials or products being produced
Use of inspection equipment including handheld and electronics equipment such as CMM's, Calipers, gauges and micrometers.
Accept or reject finished work
Work with the wider engineering team to understand project specifications and quality
Work to health and safety processes & regulations

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in a similar role, ideally within an automotive/aerospace industry
Knowledge of inspecting machine parts
Good understanding of quality control standards and procedures
Experience with quality inspection equipment such as CMM'S, callipers, Multimeters etc
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
