Vehicle Mechanic

Salary/Bonuses: £40,000 - £41,000

NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading provider of vehicle and plant maintenance services, supporting some of the UK’s most recognised names across utilities, infrastructure, and fleet operations. Due to business growth and new contracts secured for 2025, we are looking to expand their workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Workshop Technicians to join a forward-thinking company offering long-term stability and career development.

The Role

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles and attachments

  • Perform servicing, component replacements, and road tests

  • Fit and service vehicle accessories, including cameras, parking sensors, towbars, and reverse sensors

  • Carry out maintenance tasks including oil/air filter changes, brakes, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, and diagnostics

  • Perform quality checks and maintain workshop safety and cleanliness

  • Occasionally visit off-site locations to support safe operations and client requirements

The Candidate

  • Previous workshop or fleet maintenance experience

  • IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (advantageous)

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and committed to quality

  • Own basic hand tools (specialist tools provided)

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Full UK driving licence
