Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting Production Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for a respected food manufacturing client in the West Bank area of Widnes.
Our client is a leading wholesale bacon curing company, specialising in both Dry Cured and Tank Cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, they are known for high-quality produce and fast, efficient service.

Key Duties:
- Operating food production machinery.
- Packing and labelling products to specification.
- Following strict food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
- Working as part of a production team to meet dispatch deadlines.
- Completing hygiene and clean-down duties.
- Performing basic quality checks.
Requirements:
- Manual handling experience.
- Good awareness of food hygiene and general health & safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude.
- Previous production experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.
- Tuesday & Thursday extended shifts until 6pm.
- Some Saturday work may be required, depending on business needs.
Pay & Progression:
- Starting rate: 12.21 per hour.
- Pay increase after successful completion of the probation period.
- Weekly pay through Acorn by Synergie.
