Dovetail Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fast-moving and creative product business that specialises in affordable, on-trend ranges across Health & Beauty, Gifting, and Household. They supply major discount retailers and distributors, creating products that respond quickly to changing trends. As part of a global group with teams across the UK, Asia, and South Africa, they’re now looking for a National Account Executive to join their friendly commercial team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, is passionate about products, and wants to get stuck into the full process - meeting customers in person, presenting new product ideas, and playing a key part in developing those ideas from concept right through to launch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams across Product, Operations, Commercial, and Technical
  • Manage all aspects of customer accounts within the discount retail sector, including regular face-to-face meetings and trade visits
  • Present core ranges and new product development to drive growth and secure new business
  • Set and achieve sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular sales reports
  • Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and planning to support account growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery and execution of customer requirements
  • Demonstrate proven sales success within the discount sector and a clear understanding of this market

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within the discount retail sector
  • Solid understanding of private label, tertiary, and branded products
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
